OpenAI has made high-quality text-to-speech technology accessible and affordable for everyone. Intrigued by their new tools, I decided to create a web app that utilizes the text-to-speech API. I tested it by running a few of my blog posts through the app, utilizing various voices. You can listen to some samples below by clicking on the expandable sections. Each sample includes an audio version, a written version if you want to follow along, the name of the voice used, and a link to the original post. If you find this interesting or useful, you can try it out for yourself. Simply click on the web app link to get started, using your OpenAI API key and some text. Alternatively, if you prefer to build your own tool, the code is available on GitHub.
